Loyalzoo alternatives (2026): 7 loyalty tools with a longer trial or a card customers carry

Loyalzoo is strong where loyalty has to live inside the till. If you want a longer trial, a lower entry price or a card customers carry in their Wallet, here are seven alternatives with prices checked on 3 November 2026, and an honest note on where Loyalzoo still wins.

Illustration: a card terminal with a keypad beside a phone showing a loyalty card in a wallet

In short

  • Loyalzoo costs $77 a month for Grow and $167 for Smart on its pricing page as of 3 November 2026, with a 7-day trial. It is a UK company and its strength is native till integration: Clover, Square, PAX, GoDaddy Poynt, Epos Now, Shopify and Sunmi.
  • Stay on Loyalzoo if loyalty must live inside one of those tills, or if you sell memberships and subscriptions with a card on file.
  • Look elsewhere if $77 is too much for one shop, if a week is too short to decide, if you want a card the customer carries in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet rather than a phone number typed at the till, or if you want unlimited messages without buying SMS credits.
  • Every alternative here is cheaper at entry and six of the seven give a 14 to 30-day trial. Four put a card in both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with no app: Stampioo, Loopy Loyalty, StampyWallet and BonusQR.
  • Stampioo, which publishes this page, costs €29 a month, with a 30-day trial without card details, 29 languages and five locations for €49. We have no till integration, no free plan and no memberships product.

Loyalzoo has been selling loyalty to small businesses from the UK since 2013, and it sits in a different corner of the market from most digital stamp card tools, or loyalty card tools as we call them at Stampioo. Customers do not carry a card: they give a phone number or email at the till, and the till, or a tablet beside it, does the rest. That is convenient for staff and it is why Loyalzoo appears in the Clover, Epos Now and Square marketplaces. It is also the reason people search for alternatives: the entry price is $77 a month, the trial is a week, SMS costs extra credits, and the customer has nothing on the lock screen to remind them you exist.

Declared interest: this page is published by Stampioo, which is the first alternative below. To keep ourselves honest, every price is read from the vendor’s own pricing page on the date given, each tool has a “where it loses” line including ours, and the section on Loyalzoo lists the things it does that we do not. Tell us if a figure has moved and we will correct it with a new date.

How we compared

  • Prices from each vendor’s own pricing page on 3 November 2026, in the currency that page shows. No currency conversion, because most vendors set regional prices by hand.
  • Entry plan, single location: the cheapest paid plan that runs one programme at one shop.
  • How the customer is identified: phone number at the till, an app, a browser card, or a pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
  • Till integration: whether the tool connects to a POS, and which ones. This is Loyalzoo’s home ground, so we are explicit about who matches it (almost nobody).
  • Trial: length and whether card details are needed.
  • Not weighed: star ratings. The review counts are small across this market and some are vendor-solicited.

Loyalzoo: what it does well and where it falls short

The facts, checked 3 November 2026

Loyalzoo’s pricing page lists Grow at $77 a month, described as for small businesses starting with loyalty and memberships, with points- or stamp-based loyalty, basic email, push and SMS tools, subscriptions and memberships and automated recurring payments. Smart, at $167 a month and marked as the pro pick, adds targeted promotions and rewards, tiered loyalty, unlimited personalisation and 5,000 messaging credits. Multi is a custom quote for several locations with an account manager and custom integrations. The currency is shown as a dollar sign with no code, there is no yearly price on the page, and the headline offers a 7-day free trial. Customers are unlimited, email and push messages are unlimited, SMS uses credits bought in the app, and the comparison table lists Apple and Google Wallet passes and a branded web app for customers. The company is Loyal Zoo Ltd, with a UK phone number and UK VAT.

Where Loyalzoo wins

  • Native till integration with Clover, Square, PAX, GoDaddy Poynt, Epos Now, Shopify and Sunmi. Points land when the sale rings up, with no scan. No stand-alone Wallet tool in this list does that.
  • Memberships and subscriptions with a card on file, billed through Stripe: a haircut subscription, unlimited car washes, a yearly membership at an attraction. This is a second product inside the same subscription.
  • Points, stamps and tiers in one tool, so a programme can reward spend as well as visits.
  • Works for customers without a smartphone, because a phone number is all that is needed.
  • A UK company with UK VAT and UK phone support, which matters to UK buyers more than vendors realise.

Where Loyalzoo falls short

  • The entry price. $77 a month is three times Loopy’s $25 and well above Stampioo’s €29 for one shop.
  • The 7-day trial, the shortest in this list. Most alternatives give 30 days, and the programme has barely reached your regulars in a week.
  • The phone-number model. Quick for staff, but the customer carries nothing: no card on the lock screen, no reminder when they walk past, no Wallet notification. The pricing page does list Apple and Google Wallet passes, but the homepage does not mention them and the product is sold around the till, not the Wallet.
  • SMS costs credits on top of the subscription, and the page does not price them.
  • The currency is shown as dollars with no selector, so a UK buyer cannot tell the pound price from the pricing page.

The 7 alternatives

1. Stampioo: best for a Wallet card customers carry, with no app and no till involved

Best for: a café, salon or restaurant that wants a loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet saved from a QR code in seconds, a dashboard in the owner’s and staff’s own language, and a flat price for unlimited customers.

Stampioo is the tool we make. The customer scans the QR code, fills in a short form and taps Add; staff stamp with the phone scanner in the browser, so there is no hardware, no till integration and nothing to install for anyone. Starter is €29 a month excluding VAT, or €23 a month billed yearly, for one programme, one location and three team members. Pro is €49 for five programmes, five locations, ten team members, advanced analytics and ten targeted push campaigns a month. Customers and scans are unlimited on every plan, the card updates on the lock screen the moment staff scan, and nearby reminders can nudge customers near your shop. Website, dashboard and support come in 29 languages. The trial is 30 days without card details. See plans and pricing.

Where it loses to Loyalzoo: no till integration, no memberships or recurring billing, no points-by-spend, and no public API. There is no free plan, prices are in euros and kronor only, and we have few public reviews yet. If your customers must be able to join without a smartphone, Loyalzoo’s phone-number model is the better fit.

2. Loopy Loyalty: best for the lowest dollar price and an API

Best for: a business paying in dollars that wants a Wallet card on both platforms and the option of Zapier, Make or a developer API. Starter is $25 a month or $250 a year for one card design, one location and three staff logins; Growth $69 for three locations; Ultimate $95 for ten. Customers and push messages are unlimited on every plan, both Wallets are included, and data export is listed on every plan. The trial is 15 days. Where it loses: short trial, dollars only, dashboard languages not stated, stamps only (no points or tiers), and Loopy’s FAQ says cards are scheduled for deletion after the billing period if you cancel. For a Loyalzoo user, the API and Zapier are the nearest thing to integration you will find among the Wallet tools.

Our ten-tool Loopy Loyalty alternatives comparison has the long version.

3. Square Loyalty: best if your till is Square

Best for: a business on Square POS that wants what Loyalzoo offers, points added automatically at checkout, from the till vendor itself. In the UK it costs £25 a month per location for up to 500 loyalty visits, £45 to 1,500 and £65 above, where a loyalty visit is an enrolment, a point or a redemption; in the US it is listed under the Square Plus plan. Customers give a phone number, as with Loyalzoo, and the pass goes to Apple Wallet only. The trial is 30 days. Where it loses: it only exists inside Square, so a Clover or Epos Now shop cannot use it at all; no Google Wallet; and the price rises with visits and locations.

Read our Square Loyalty review for the worked example.

4. Stamp Me: best for tap-to-stamp hardware and SMS, if customers will create a Stamp Me account

Best for: a UK or Australian business that wants the StampPod on the counter, SMS campaigns and games such as Scratch & Win. Lite is £39, $49 or €29 a month, billed monthly, for one location and up to two programmes; Pro £49, $79 or €49; Elite £129, $199 or €169. The trial is 30 days from the first published card, no card details. Where it loses: the customer must create a Stamp Me account (the native app is optional and only needed for tap stamping with the StampPod or Stamp Tag; otherwise the card runs in Stamp Me’s web app with a one-time code login), only a member-code barcode goes into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and each plan is a single location. For a Loyalzoo user used to customers needing nothing, the account is a step backwards; the SMS tools are a step forward.

5. StampyWallet: best for the lowest euro price, if you are in France

Best for: a French business that wants the cheapest Wallet card. Essential is €20 a month excluding VAT for one location with unlimited customers, cards and visits; Growth is €40 with automatic messages, customer groups, 200 texts a month, and an API, POS connections and webhooks; Network starts at €90 for several locations. The trial is 30 days with every Growth feature and no card, and data is hosted in Strasbourg. Where it loses: new in 2026, French-first, a tiny public footprint, and the POS connections on Growth are not named integrations in the way Loyalzoo’s are.

6. BonusQR: best if you want a free plan with no time limit

Best for: a very small business that wants a Wallet card for nothing and can do without push messages and staff logins for now. The Free plan has one manager login and no push or email news; Basic is $22 a month at list price or $20 billed quarterly, with five employee logins; Premium is $79 or $71 quarterly. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are on every plan, including Free. Where it loses: the plans you will want are paid like everyone else’s, extra locations are an add-on with no price on the pricing page, and the company publishes rankings that place itself first.

7. Flex Rewards: best for a tablet kiosk on the counter

Best for: a shop that wants customers to stamp themselves on a tablet, with single-use codes and a minimum time between scans to stop abuse, and a flat price in local currency. $36 a month, billed as £26, CAD 46, AUD 48 or NZD 48, covers one store with two card slots and every feature; extra stores cost $14.50 and extra card slots $10. The trial is 30 days, but card details are required. Where it loses: the card lives in the browser and Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are not mentioned on the website, so there is no lock-screen pass; and the trial needs a card.

How to choose

Stay on Loyalzoo if:

  • Loyalty must live inside Clover, Epos Now, PAX, Poynt, Shopify or Sunmi, with points landing at the sale and no scan.
  • You sell memberships, subscriptions or instalments and want them billed from the same system.
  • Some of your customers do not have a smartphone.

Switch if:

  • You want a card the customer carries and sees on the lock screen: Stampioo, Loopy Loyalty, StampyWallet or BonusQR, all on both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
  • You want 30 days to decide rather than seven, and no card at sign-up: Stampioo, StampyWallet or Stamp Me.
  • You want a flat price well under $77 for one shop: StampyWallet €20, Loopy $25, Stampioo €29.
  • You have two to five locations: Stampioo Pro at €49 for five.
  • Your till is Square and you want automatic points: Square Loyalty.
  • You want a dashboard in your own language: Stampioo (29 languages) or Stamp Me (eight in the app).

If you leave Loyalzoo

  • Export your customer list first. Loyalzoo built the list around phone numbers and emails, which is exactly what you need to tell regulars about the new card.
  • Points and stamps do not transfer. Most Wallet tools, Stampioo included, let staff add stamps by hand, so a regular can start the new card where the old one stopped.
  • If you used memberships, decide where recurring billing goes before you cancel; a stamp card tool will not take it over.
  • If your till showed a loyalty prompt, remove it and put the new QR code on the counter, receipts and online ordering page instead.
  • Run both for two to four weeks so nobody loses a reward they were close to.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Loyalzoo cost in 2026?

On its pricing page on 3 November 2026, Loyalzoo costs $77 a month for Grow (points or stamps, basic email, push and SMS tools, memberships) and $167 a month for Smart (adds targeted promotions, tiered loyalty and 5,000 messaging credits). Multi, for several locations, is a custom quote. The currency is shown only as a dollar sign, and the trial is 7 days.

Is there a free alternative to Loyalzoo?

BonusQR has a free plan with no time limit, with one manager login and no push messages; Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are included. Stampioo has no free plan but gives 30 days free without card details, then €29 a month. Loopy Loyalty, StampyWallet, Stamp Me and Flex Rewards all offer trials, from 15 to 30 days, but no free tier.

Which Loyalzoo alternatives work without a customer app?

All of them, with a caveat for Stamp Me, which needs an account. Loyalzoo itself needs no app either; it identifies customers by phone number or email at the till. The difference is what the customer carries: Stampioo, Loopy Loyalty, StampyWallet and BonusQR put a card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, Square Loyalty puts a pass in Apple Wallet only, and Flex Rewards opens the card in the browser. Stamp Me requires the customer to create a Stamp Me account; the native app is optional except for tap stamping, and only a member-code barcode goes into the Wallet.

Which alternative works with my till like Loyalzoo does?

Only Square Loyalty, and only if your till is Square. Loyalzoo integrates with Clover, Square, PAX, GoDaddy Poynt, Epos Now, Shopify and Sunmi, which none of the stand-alone tools in this list match. Stampioo, Loopy Loyalty, StampyWallet, Stamp Me, BonusQR and Flex Rewards all run beside any till: staff stamp with a phone, and the till is not involved. StampyWallet’s Growth plan lists POS connections and an API, but no named till integrations.

What is the cheapest Loyalzoo alternative?

By entry price on 3 November 2026: StampyWallet at €20 a month, BonusQR at $20 a month billed quarterly, Loopy Loyalty at $25, Stampioo at €29 (€23 billed yearly), Square Loyalty at £25 per location in the UK, Flex Rewards at $36 or £26, Stamp Me at £39, $49 or €29. Every one of them is below Loyalzoo’s $77.

Can I sell memberships or subscriptions with these alternatives?

Not in the way Loyalzoo does. Loyalzoo stores a payment card and bills memberships, subscriptions and instalments through Stripe, which is a different product from a stamp card. Square can sell subscriptions through other Square products. The Wallet-based tools in this list, Stampioo included, are loyalty cards: the customer pays as usual and collects stamps towards a reward. If memberships with recurring billing are the point, stay on Loyalzoo.
