Loopy Loyalty alternatives (2026): 10 digital stamp card tools compared

Loopy Loyalty is a solid Wallet-based stamp card, but it is not the only one. We compare ten alternatives on price, customer app, Apple and Google Wallet and data handling, with every price checked on 3 November 2026, and say where Loopy still wins.

Illustration: a ranked list of loyalty card tools next to a phone showing a Wallet stamp card

In short

  • Loopy Loyalty costs $25 a month, or $250 a year, for one location and one card design on its own pricing page as of 3 November 2026. Sources that quote $15 or $49 are out of date.
  • Stay on Loopy if you want an API, Zapier or Make automations, geo-fenced messages, or up to ten locations on one plan.
  • Look elsewhere if you want a longer trial (Loopy gives 15 days), want to pay in euros or pounds, need a dashboard in more languages than English, or want a cheaper plan for two to five locations.
  • Six of the ten alternatives put the card in both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with no app to install: Stampioo, StampyWallet, BonusQR, FaveCard (paid plans), Boomerangme and PassKit. Square Loyalty is Apple Wallet only, Stamp Me needs a customer account (its app is optional except for tap stamping), Flex Rewards uses a browser card and Loyalzoo works by phone number at the till.
  • Stampioo, which publishes this page, costs €29 a month: more than Loopy and StampyWallet, with a 30-day trial without card details, 29 languages and five locations for €49. We have no free plan and no POS integrations.

Loopy Loyalty is one of the longest-established digital stamp card tools, or loyalty card tools as Stampioo calls them, that work through Apple Wallet and Google Wallet instead of a customer app. It is built by PassKit, Inc., the company behind the PassKit developer platform, and it is often the first name a café or salon owner comes across. It is also the tool people search for alternatives to most often, usually for one of four reasons: the 15-day trial felt short, the jump from $25 to $69 for a second location, pricing in dollars only, or a wish for a dashboard in their own language.

A note on who is writing. This page is published by Stampioo, which is one of the ten tools below. We have tried to make that bias visible rather than hide it. Every price links to the vendor’s own pricing page with the date we checked it, every tool gets a “best for” line and a “where it loses” line, ours included, and the section on Loopy lists what it does better than we do. If a figure has changed since we checked, tell us and we will correct it with a new date.

How we compared

  • Prices come from each vendor’s own pricing page, read on 3 November 2026, in the currency that page shows. We do not convert currencies: exchange rates move, and most vendors set their regional prices by hand rather than by exchange rate.
  • Entry plan, single location: the cheapest paid plan that runs one loyalty card at one location. Multi-location plans are in the detailed table further down.
  • Customer app: does the customer have to install an app and create an account, or does the card go straight into Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or a browser?
  • Wallet support is listed separately for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, because two tools in the list support only one or neither.
  • Trial: how long, and whether card details are needed to start.
  • Data and hosting: what each vendor states about where the company is based and where data is processed. Where a vendor states nothing, we say so rather than guess.
  • What we did not do: we did not sign up for and test every tool, and we did not rank by third-party star ratings. The review counts are small (Loopy has 67 reviews on Capterra, Stampioo has one on G2), and some reviews are vendor-solicited.

Loopy Loyalty: what it does well and where it falls short

The facts, checked 3 November 2026

Loopy’s pricing page lists three plans. Starter costs $25 a month or $250 a year and includes one card design, one location and three sub-users (the staff logins that stamp cards). Growth costs $69 a month or $690 a year with three designs, three locations and ten sub-users. Ultimate costs $95 a month or $950 a year with ten designs, ten locations and 50 sub-users. The currency is shown only as a dollar sign. Customers and push messages are unlimited on every plan, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are included on every plan, and data export appears in every plan’s feature list. The trial is 15 days on all plans.

If you have seen other figures, you are not imagining it. Third-party comparison pages quote Loopy at $15, $25 and $49 a month, often on the same day. Those pages are either out of date or mixing Loopy up with other tools. The figure on loopyloyalty.com/pricing on 3 November 2026 is $25 a month, so that is the one we use. Two smaller details from the same page: the annual price is labelled “save 20%”, but $250 against twelve times $25 works out at about 17%, and the page says both that no credit card is required and, in its FAQ, that a card is needed before a project goes live.

Where Loopy wins

  • Developer API, plus no-code automations through Zapier and Make. None of the small-business tools below match this except PassKit, Loopy’s own parent platform.
  • Location-based messages: a reminder on the lock screen when the customer is near your shop. Stampioo offers nearby reminders too, but Loopy documents its version well.
  • Unlimited push messages on every plan, including Starter. Stampioo’s targeted campaigns start on Pro.
  • Ten locations and ten card designs on one plan (Ultimate, $95 a month). Few of the tools below go that far without a custom quote.
  • A long track record and a mature product. Capterra shows 67 reviews with a 4.6 average on a page last updated in April 2026.

Where Loopy falls short

  • The 15-day trial is the shortest of the Wallet-based tools in this list apart from Loyalzoo’s seven days. Most of the others give 30 days.
  • One card design on Starter, and a jump from $25 to $69 the moment you open a second location. Stampioo covers five locations for €49, and Square charges per location.
  • Dollar pricing only. There is no euro or pound price, so European buyers pay whatever their card issuer converts at.
  • The pricing page does not say which languages the dashboard supports, and Capterra lists English only. Stamp Me states eight languages and Stampioo 29.
  • Stamps only. If you want points per pound spent or VIP tiers, Loopy is not built for that; Square Loyalty and Loyalzoo are.
  • Reviews on Capterra mention Android customers struggling to add the card and limited design options. We have not reproduced these problems ourselves, so treat them as reports, not findings.
  • Loopy’s FAQ says it does not offer refunds for subscriptions or renewals, and that after cancellation the account and all loyalty cards are scheduled for deletion when the billing period ends. Export your customers before you leave.

The 10 alternatives

1. Stampioo: best for a no-app Wallet card in 29 languages from an EU company

Best for: cafés, salons and restaurants in Europe that want a loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with no app, a dashboard and card in the customer’s own language, and a flat price that does not rise with the number of customers.

Stampioo is the tool we make, so read this section with that in mind. The customer scans a QR code, fills in a short form and saves the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Staff stamp with a phone scanner, and the card updates on the customer’s lock screen. Starter costs €29 a month excluding VAT, or €23 a month billed yearly, for one programme, one location and three team members. Pro costs €49 a month for five programmes, five locations, ten team members, advanced analytics and ten targeted push campaigns a month. Customers and scans are unlimited on every plan. The trial is 30 days without card details. The website, dashboard and support are in 29 languages.

Where it loses: the entry price is higher than Loopy’s $25 and StampyWallet’s €20, there is no free plan, there are no POS integrations and no public API, and the public review count is tiny (one review on G2 as we write). Prices are shown in euros and Swedish kronor only. On data: Stampioo is run by Allvia AB in Sweden and acts as your data processor under GDPR, but the service runs on Netlify, which may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Our privacy policy says so in plain words, and we would rather you read it there than assume “EU company” means “EU servers”.

2. StampyWallet: best for the lowest euro price, if you are in France

Best for: French businesses that want the cheapest Wallet-based card and are happy with a French-first product.

StampyWallet launched in 2026 and works much like Stampioo: QR code, Wallet pass on both platforms, no customer app, staff scan with a phone camera in the browser. Essential costs €20 a month excluding VAT for one location, Growth €40 adds automations, reports and 200 SMS a month for customers without a Wallet, and Network starts at €90 a month for several locations. Yearly billing gives two months free. The trial is 30 days with no card. Data is hosted in Strasbourg according to the website. Where it loses: the website is in four languages and the product is French-first, the public footprint is tiny with no reviews we could find, and several locations cost €90 a month and up.

3. BonusQR: best if you want a free plan with no time limit

Best for: a very small business that wants a Wallet card for nothing and can live without push messages and staff logins.

BonusQR is the only tool in this list with a free plan that has no time limit: one manager login, no employee logins, no push or email news. Basic costs $22 a month at list price, or $20 a month when billed quarterly ($60 every three months), and adds five employee logins and more card types. Premium costs $79 a month, or $71 billed quarterly. Yearly billing is advertised at up to 23% off. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are included on every plan, including Free. Where it loses: the useful plans are paid like everyone else’s, extra locations are an add-on whose price is not on the pricing page, and the company publishes ranking articles that place itself first, so read its own comparisons with that in mind. Hosting is not stated on the pricing page.

4. FaveCard: best for starting free in the browser and adding Wallet passes later

Best for: a business that wants to try a digital card at zero cost and is willing to start without Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

FaveCard’s Free plan gives you one browser-based loyalty card with unlimited customers and stamps, a QR code for the counter and a small branded page. It does not give new customers an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass. Pro, at €29 a month when viewed from Sweden (FaveCard shows regional currencies), adds the Wallet passes, your logo and customer details such as email and birthday. Business, at €49, adds campaigns, win-back messages, CSV export and team accounts. New accounts get the paid features free for 30 days without a card and then settle into Free. Where it loses: the free tier is a browser card, not a Wallet card, one card at a time until Business, no reviews we could find, and the company publishes aggressive comparison articles against Loopy, Stamp Me and Square that you should treat as marketing.

5. Stamp Me: best for tap-to-stamp hardware and SMS, if your customers will sign up for an account

Best for: a UK or Australian business that wants a countertop stamping device, SMS marketing and games like Scratch & Win, and does not mind asking customers to create a Stamp Me account.

Stamp Me is the most visible stamp card brand in the UK and Australia. Lite costs £39, $49 (USD or AUD), €29 or CAD 49 a month, Pro £49, $79, €49 or CAD 79, and Elite £129, $199 or €169, all billed monthly with no yearly option shown. The trial is 30 days without a card, starting when the first card is published. Its strengths are real: StampPod and Stamp Tag hardware for tap-to-stamp, SMS and push, a birthday club, Mailchimp and Zapier integrations, eight languages in the app. Where it loses, and this is the deciding point for many: the customer must create a Stamp Me account. According to Stamp Me’s members page the card can be used in a web app without installing the native app, but tap stamping with StampPod or Stamp Tag needs the app, and only the customer’s member code, a barcode, can be saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and only if you use the Stamp Business app at the counter. Stamps live in the Stamp Me account, not on a Wallet card. Each plan covers one location and up to two published card programmes, with extra programmes at £15, $15 or €15 one-off. If you want the hardware and the games, Stamp Me is the pick. If you left Loopy because customers would not sign up for anything, it is a step backwards.

6. Square Loyalty: best if you already run Square POS

Best for: a business on Square POS that wants loyalty tied to the till and to spend, and accepts an Apple Wallet pass only.

Square Loyalty is not a standalone product: it needs Square POS. In return there is no extra step at checkout, customers enrol with a phone number at checkout, points can follow spend rather than visits, and reports show loyalty-attributed sales. In the UK it costs £25 a month per location for up to 500 loyalty visits in a month, £45 for 501 to 1,500 and £65 above that, where a loyalty visit is an enrolment, a point earned or a reward redeemed. In the US, Square now lists Loyalty under its Plus plan; third-party pages quote about $49 per location a month, but we could not confirm that figure on Square’s own pricing page, so check it there. The trial is 30 days. Where it loses: it only works with Square POS, so you cannot take it to another till; the pass goes to Apple Wallet only, with no Google Wallet pass; the cost rises with success because it is priced by visits and locations; and it is a points programme first, not a visual stamp card, even though you can award a point per visit.

7. Flex Rewards: best for a counter kiosk and anti-fraud codes

Best for: a shop that wants customers to stamp themselves on a tablet at the counter, with single-use codes and a minimum gap between scans to stop abuse.

Flex Rewards charges a flat $36 a month, billed as £26, CAD 46, AUD 48 or SGD 48 in local currency, for one store with two card slots and every feature. An extra store costs $14.50 a month and an extra card slot $10. The trial is 30 days, but card details are required to start. Customers scan a QR code and the card opens in the browser with one-tap sign-in through Google or Apple; there is also an optional consumer app. Where it loses: Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are not mentioned anywhere on the website or the App Store listing, so there is no lock-screen pass and the customer has to find the link again; the add-ons per store and per card slot add up; and the trial needs a card.

8. Loyalzoo: best for loyalty inside your till

Best for: a business that wants loyalty to live inside Clover, Epos Now, Square, Shopify or Sunmi, or sells memberships with a card on file.

Loyalzoo is a UK company with native POS integrations, which is the one thing none of the Wallet-based tools in this list offer. Grow costs $77 a month, Smart $167 with targeted promotions, tiers and messaging credits, and Multi is a custom quote. The currency is shown as dollars without a selector. The trial is seven days. Customers register by phone number or email at the till rather than carrying a card, with an optional branded web app, and the pricing table lists branded Apple and Google Wallet passes. Where it loses: the highest entry price in this list apart from Boomerangme, the shortest trial, and the phone-number-at-the-till model, which is quick for staff but gives the customer nothing to glance at on the lock screen.

9. Boomerangme: best for agencies reselling loyalty cards

Best for: a marketing agency that wants to run loyalty cards for many clients under its own brand.

Boomerangme offers eight card types, including stamp, cashback, membership and coupon, with cards in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet and a free scanner app for staff. Business costs $199 a month, or $164 a month billed yearly, with ten locations and 50 manager seats; Agency costs $259 and Franchise $299. The trial is 14 days without a card. Where it loses: it is priced for agencies, not for a single café, and the pricing page showed inconsistent figures when we checked (Franchise listed at both $249 and $299), so confirm before you sign.

10. PassKit: best for developers building their own passes

Best for: a company with a developer that wants to design its own Wallet passes, memberships or coupons and pay by volume.

PassKit is the platform Loopy Loyalty is built on, sold directly to developers. The platform fee starts at $39.50 a month for one team member and includes 250 multi-use and 250 single-use passes; beyond that you pay per pass, for example $0.045 per multi-use pass between 251 and 2,500. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are both supported, and the trial is 45 days, the longest here. Where it loses: it is not a turnkey stamp card for a café, the per-pass model is hard to budget for a growing customer list, and you need someone technical to set it up. If that is you, it is the most flexible option in the list.

How to choose

Stay on Loopy Loyalty if:

  • You use, or plan to use, the API, Zapier or Make. Only PassKit matches this, at a higher and less predictable price.
  • You pay in US dollars and want the lowest sticker price for one location with a Wallet card on both platforms. Only StampyWallet and BonusQR undercut it, and both have trade-offs.
  • You run close to ten locations and want them on one flat plan.

Switch if:

  • Two to five locations: Stampioo Pro at €49 a month for five locations against Loopy Growth at $69 for three.
  • A longer trial, or no card at sign-up: Stampioo, StampyWallet, Stamp Me and FaveCard give 30 days without card details; PassKit gives 45 days.
  • A dashboard and card in your own language: Stampioo (29 languages) or Stamp Me (eight languages in the app).
  • A free plan: BonusQR, or FaveCard if a browser card is enough to begin with.
  • Loyalty inside the till: Square Loyalty if you are on Square POS, Loyalzoo for Clover, Epos Now or Shopify.
  • Hardware stamping and SMS, and customers who will create an account: Stamp Me.

If you do switch away from Loopy

  • Export your customer list first. Loopy lists data export on every plan. Which fields you get depends on what you collected.
  • The cards do not move. A Wallet pass belongs to the vendor that issued it, so every customer has to scan your new QR code and save a new card. Plan a few weeks of overlap and tell people at the till.
  • Loopy’s FAQ says that after cancellation the account and all loyalty cards are scheduled for deletion when the billing period ends, and that it does not offer refunds. Time the cancellation for the end of a billing period, after the new cards are out.
  • Transfer the stamps by hand. Most tools, Stampioo included, let staff add stamps to a new card in the dashboard, so a customer with seven stamps in Loopy can start with seven in the new card.
  • Replace every printed QR code: counter signs, menus, receipts, the website and social profiles.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Loopy Loyalty cost in 2026?

On its own pricing page on 3 November 2026, Loopy Loyalty costs $25 a month or $250 a year for Starter (one card design, one location, three sub-users), $69 a month or $690 a year for Growth (three locations) and $95 a month or $950 a year for Ultimate (ten locations). Pages that quote $15 or $49 a month are out of date or refer to other tools. The trial is 15 days.

Is there a free alternative to Loopy Loyalty?

BonusQR has a free plan with no time limit, with one manager login and without push messages. FaveCard has a free browser-based card, but its Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes are on the paid plans. Stampioo has no free plan: you get 30 days free without card details, then pay from €29 a month.

Which Loopy Loyalty alternatives work without a customer app?

Stampioo, StampyWallet, BonusQR, FaveCard (on its paid plans), Boomerangme and PassKit put the card straight into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, so there is nothing to install. Square Loyalty works without an app but only offers an Apple Wallet pass. Flex Rewards uses a card in the browser. Stamp Me requires the customer to create an account; its native app is optional except for tap stamping, and stamps live in that account rather than on a Wallet card. Loyalzoo identifies customers by phone number at the till.

What is the cheapest Loopy Loyalty alternative?

By entry price on 3 November 2026: StampyWallet at €20 a month and BonusQR at $20 a month when billed quarterly are the only paid tools below Loopy’s $25. Stampioo costs €29 a month, or €23 a month billed yearly. For more than one location the order changes: Stampioo Pro covers five locations for €49 a month, while Loopy Growth covers three for $69.

Do digital punch card apps work on Android as well as iPhone?

Every Wallet-based tool in this comparison supports Google Wallet on Android as well as Apple Wallet on iPhone, with the exception of Square Loyalty, which only offers an Apple Wallet pass. According to Google, Google Wallet needs Android 9 or later and a Google account on the phone. Some reviews of Loopy Loyalty on Capterra mention Android customers struggling to add the card. We have not reproduced that ourselves.

Can I move my customers’ cards from Loopy Loyalty to another tool?

Not the cards themselves. A Wallet pass belongs to the vendor that issued it, so customers have to save a new card by scanning the new QR code. What you can take with you is the customer list: Loopy lists data export on every plan, so export it before you cancel. Loopy’s FAQ says that after cancellation the account and all loyalty cards are scheduled for deletion when the billing period ends, so run both tools side by side for a few weeks and tell customers at the till.
