Stamp Me alternatives (2026): 8 options that don’t need a customer app

Stamp Me asks every customer to create an account and keeps the stamps in its own app. Here are eight alternatives that put the card in Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or a browser instead, with every price checked on 3 November 2026 and an honest note on where Stamp Me still wins.

Illustration: a phone with a loyalty card in Wallet next to a crossed-out app download screen

In short

  • Stamp Me costs £39, €29 or $49 a month for Lite on 3 November 2026, billed monthly, one location per plan, two card programmes included. The $29, $45 and $99 figures on other sites are the euro price or old prices.
  • Every Stamp Me customer needs a Stamp Me account, logged in with a one-time code. Tap stamping needs the native app, and the Wallet option only holds the customer’s member code, not the stamps.
  • Six of the eight alternatives put a real loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with no account and no app: Stampioo, Loopy Loyalty, StampyWallet, BonusQR, FaveCard (paid plans) and PassKit. Square Loyalty is Apple Wallet only. Flex Rewards uses a browser card.
  • Stay on Stamp Me if you want tap-to-stamp hardware, SMS marketing, Scratch & Win games and a company with a UK and Australian presence, and your customers are happy to sign up.
  • Stampioo, which publishes this page, costs €29 a month for one location and €49 for five, with a 30-day trial without card details, both Wallets, 29 languages, and no account for the customer. We have no hardware, no SMS and no free plan.

Stamp Me is the most visible digital stamp card brand in the UK, Australia and Canada, and for many café and salon owners it is the first tool they try. It is a punch card app in the literal sense: the card lives inside Stamp Me’s app, the customer has an account there, and the business stamps it with a code, a staff app or a tap device. That design is also the reason most people search for an alternative. Owners tell the same story in reviews and forums: customers at the till do not want to sign up for anything, so the card never gets used.

The eight tools below all remove that step in one way or another. Most of them put a loyalty card, the thing many searchers call a digital stamp card, straight into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet after a QR scan. Two of them take other routes, and we say which. Prices were read from each vendor’s own pricing page on the date above, in the currency the page shows.

Who is writing this: Stampioo, one of the eight alternatives. We sell a Wallet-based loyalty card, so we obviously think the no-app route is the right one for most small businesses. To keep that opinion from bending the facts, every price below links to the vendor’s page with the date we checked it, Stamp Me gets a section on what it does better than any of us, and our own entry carries the same “where it loses” line as everyone else’s. Tell us if a figure has changed and we will correct it with a new date.

How we compared

  • Prices from each vendor’s own pricing page on 3 November 2026, in the currency the page shows, never converted. Stamp Me prices its plans by region rather than by exchange rate, and so do several others, so a converted figure would mislead.
  • Entry plan for a single location: the cheapest paid plan that runs one loyalty card at one place. Multi-location pricing is in the detailed table.
  • Customer account or app: does the customer have to create an account or install anything, or does the card go straight to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet or a browser?
  • Wallet: whether the stamps live on an Apple Wallet and Google Wallet pass, on an Apple-only pass, in a browser, or in the vendor’s app.
  • Trial: length, and whether card details are needed to start.
  • Not included: star ratings. Stamp Me has 25 reviews on Trustpilot UK, Loopy has 67 on Capterra, Stampioo has one on G2. Those counts are too small to rank by.

What Stamp Me actually requires, checked 3 November 2026

Stamp Me’s members page describes the join flow like this: the customer scans the business’s join code, lands in the Stamp Me web app and logs in with a one-time code sent by phone or email. The native app is not required for that step; the page says you can join and use your card through the web app. Two things do require the native app or extra setup. Tap stamping with the StampPod countertop device or the Stamp Tag wearable only works by tapping a phone that has the native app installed. And the Wallet option, described in a help article dated 4 September 2026, lets customers save their member code to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, but only if the business has activated Stamp Business for that card, and what is saved is the code used to identify the customer, not the stamps. The stamps stay in Stamp Me.

The app supports eight languages according to the help centre (English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Swedish, Greek and German, article dated 7 August 2025). Every plan covers a single location and includes up to two published stamp card programmes, with extra programmes at a one-off 15 in the plan’s currency. There is no annual option; the FAQ calls them monthly pay-as-you-go plans. The 30-day trial starts when the first card is published and needs no card details. The fee is not per customer.

Stamp Me plans as shown on stampme.com/pricing on 3 November 2026. All billed monthly, single location.
Lite£39€29$49$49
Pro£49€49$79$79
Elite£129€169$199$199

If you have seen other numbers, here is where they come from. The “$29” that several comparison sites quote is Stamp Me’s euro price with the wrong symbol. “$45” and “$99” do not appear on the pricing page today and look like older plans. On the day we checked, one block of the page also showed Elite at $100 for US and Canadian dollars beside a struck-through $199 with a “limited time offer” tag, while another block showed $199 without the offer, so if Elite is the plan you want, confirm the price in the checkout.

The 8 alternatives

1. Stampioo: best for a no-app Wallet card in 29 languages at a flat price

Best for: cafés, salons, restaurants and shops in Europe that want a loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with nothing to install, nothing to sign up for, and a price that stays the same however many customers join.

This is our own tool. The customer scans a QR code, fills in a short form (you choose which fields, if any) and taps Add to Wallet. Staff stamp with the scanner in the phone’s browser, no hardware and no POS integration, and the card updates on the customer’s lock screen. Starter costs €29 a month excluding VAT, or €23 a month billed yearly, for one programme, one location and three team members. Pro costs €49 for five programmes, five locations, ten team members, advanced analytics and ten targeted push campaigns a month. Customers and scans are unlimited on every plan, the trial is 30 days without card details, and the website, dashboard and support come in 29 languages, against Stamp Me’s eight.

Where it loses: no tap hardware, no SMS and no games, so if Scratch & Win is why you picked Stamp Me, we do not replace it. No free plan, no POS integrations, no public API, prices in euros and Swedish kronor only, and one review on G2 as we write. Our entry price is the same as Stamp Me’s euro price and higher than Loopy’s and StampyWallet’s. Stampioo is run by Allvia AB in Sweden under GDPR processor terms; the service runs on Netlify, which may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses, as our privacy policy states.

2. Loopy Loyalty: best for an API, automations and location-based messages

Best for: a business that wants a Wallet card with a developer API, Zapier and Make automations and geo-fenced reminders, and pays in US dollars.

Loopy Loyalty is the longest-established Wallet-based stamp card and the tool most people compare Stamp Me with. Starter costs $25 a month or $250 a year for one card design, one location and three staff logins; Growth $69 or $690 for three locations; Ultimate $95 or $950 for ten. Customers and push messages are unlimited on every plan, both Wallets are included, and data export is listed on every plan (all checked 3 November 2026). Where it loses: the trial is 15 days, the second location costs $69, prices are in dollars only, the pricing page does not state which languages the dashboard supports, and its FAQ says cancelled accounts and their cards are scheduled for deletion after the billing period with no refunds. We cover it in depth in Loopy Loyalty alternatives.

3. StampyWallet: best for the lowest euro price, if you are in France

Best for: a French business that wants the cheapest Wallet card and EU hosting.

StampyWallet, launched in 2026, works the same way as Stampioo: QR code, Wallet pass on both platforms, staff scan with a phone camera in the browser. Essential costs €20 a month excluding VAT for one location with unlimited customers and visits, Growth €40 adds automatic messages, 200 texts a month and customer groups, and Network starts at €90 for several locations. Yearly billing is labelled two months free. The trial is 30 days of Growth features with no card. Data is hosted in Strasbourg and the site describes itself as EU-hosted (checked 3 November 2026). Where it loses: the website comes in French, English and two kinds of Spanish, the brand is new with no reviews we could find, and multi-location pricing starts at €90.

4. BonusQR: best if you want a free plan with no time limit

Best for: a very small business that wants a Wallet card for nothing and can do without push messages and staff logins.

BonusQR’s free plan has no time limit: one manager login, no employee logins, no push or email news. Basic costs $22 a month at list price or $20 a month billed quarterly, with five employee logins; Premium costs $79, or $71 quarterly. Yearly billing is advertised at up to 23% off. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are included on every plan, including Free (checked 3 November 2026). Where it loses: the plans you would actually run a business on are paid like everyone else’s, extra locations are an add-on with no price on the page, hosting is not stated, and the company’s own ranking articles place itself first.

5. FaveCard: best for starting free in the browser and adding Wallet later

Best for: someone who wants to try a digital card at zero cost and accepts starting without Wallet passes.

FaveCard’s Free plan gives one browser-based card with unlimited customers and stamps and a QR code for the counter, but no Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass for new customers. Pro, €29 a month when viewed from Sweden, adds the Wallet passes, your logo and customer details such as email and birthday; Business, €49, adds campaigns, win-back messages, CSV export and team accounts. New accounts get the paid features free for 30 days with no card and then drop to Free (checked 3 November 2026). Where it loses: the free card is a browser card, one card at a time until Business, no reviews we could find, and its blog publishes hard-edged comparison pieces against Stamp Me, Loopy and Square that read as marketing.

6. Square Loyalty: best if you already run Square POS

Best for: a business on Square POS that wants loyalty tied to spend at the till and accepts an Apple-only pass.

Square Loyalty is not a standalone product. Customers enrol with a phone number at checkout and earn points through Square’s point of sale, invoices or online site. In the UK it costs £25 a month per location for up to 500 loyalty visits a month, £45 for 501 to 1,500 and £65 above that, where a loyalty visit is an enrolment, a point earned or a reward redeemed. The trial is 30 days. Customers can add a digital loyalty pass to Apple Wallet; Google Wallet is not mentioned (checked 3 November 2026). In the US, Square lists Loyalty under its Plus plan; third-party pages quote about $49 per location a month, which we could not confirm on Square’s own page. Where it loses: it only works with Square, cost rises with visits and locations, no Google Wallet pass, and it is a points programme rather than a visual stamp card, although you can award a point per visit.

7. Flex Rewards: best for a counter kiosk and anti-fraud codes

Best for: a shop that wants customers to stamp themselves on a tablet at the counter, with single-use codes and a minimum gap between scans.

Flex Rewards charges a flat $36 a month, billed as £26, CAD 46, AUD 48, SGD 48 or NZD 48, for one store with two card slots and every feature. An extra store costs $14.50 a month and an extra card slot $10. The trial is 30 days but card details are required to start. The page says there is no app for customers and lists a browser version of the card (checked 3 November 2026). Where it loses: Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are not mentioned anywhere, so there is no lock-screen pass and the customer has to find the link again; the per-store and per-slot add-ons add up; and the trial needs a card.

8. PassKit: best for developers building their own passes

Best for: a company with a developer that wants to design its own Wallet passes and pay by volume.

PassKit is the platform Loopy Loyalty is built on, sold to developers. The platform fee starts at $39.50 a month for one team member and includes 250 multi-use and 250 single-use passes; beyond that you pay $0.045 per multi-use pass between 251 and 2,500. Billing is monthly in arrears. Both Wallets are supported and the trial is 45 days (checked 3 November 2026). Where it loses: it is not a finished stamp card for a café, the per-pass model is hard to budget for a growing list, and you need someone technical.

Stay on Stamp Me if, switch if

Stay on Stamp Me if:

  • You want tap-to-stamp hardware. StampPod on the counter and the Stamp Tag wearable are things none of the eight alternatives sell.
  • SMS is part of your marketing. Stamp Me bundles SMS; of the alternatives only StampyWallet includes texts, and only on its €40 plan.
  • Your customers enjoy Scratch & Win and birthday games, and your reviews say so. Trustpilot reviewers name exactly those features as the reason customers come back.
  • You want a vendor with a local presence in the UK, Australia or Canada and prices in those currencies.

Switch if:

  • Customers refuse to sign up at the till. Every Wallet-based alternative removes the account: Stampioo, Loopy, StampyWallet, BonusQR, FaveCard (paid) and PassKit.
  • You want the stamps on the lock screen, not inside an app. Same list; Square gives an Apple-only pass.
  • You run more than one location. Stamp Me covers one per plan; Stampioo Pro covers five for €49, Loopy Growth three for $69, StampyWallet several from €90.
  • You need more than two card programmes without paying per programme: Stampioo Pro (five), Loopy Growth (three designs).
  • Your customers speak something other than Stamp Me’s eight languages: Stampioo has 29.
  • You want a free plan: BonusQR, or FaveCard if a browser card is enough to start.
  • You want a yearly price: Stamp Me has none; Stampioo, Loopy, StampyWallet and BonusQR all discount yearly billing.

If you do switch away from Stamp Me

  • Ask Stamp Me support what you can export before you cancel. The pricing page does not describe data export, and your customer list is the one thing worth taking with you.
  • The cards do not move. Stamp Me’s cards live in its app, and every alternative issues its own pass, so each customer scans your new QR code once. Plan two to four weeks of overlap and tell people at the till.
  • Carry stamps over by hand. In Stampioo and most of the others, staff can add stamps to a new card in the dashboard, so nobody loses progress.
  • Replace every join code: counter signs, menus, receipts, website and social profiles. If you have a StampPod on the counter, that is the moment to remove it so staff do not stamp in two systems.
  • Keep the trial running on the new tool while the old subscription is still live; you are then paying for one month of both at most.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Stamp Me cost in 2026?

On its pricing page on 3 November 2026, Stamp Me Lite costs £39, €29, $49 (USD), AUD 49 or CAD 49 a month, Pro £49, €49, $79, AUD 79 or CAD 79, and Elite £129, €169, $199, AUD 199 or CAD 199. All plans are billed monthly, cover a single location and include up to two published stamp card programmes; extra programmes cost 15 (in pounds, euros or dollars) one-off. The trial is 30 days without card details. Pages quoting $29, $45 or $99 are either showing the euro price as dollars or are out of date.

Do my customers need to download the Stamp Me app?

They need a Stamp Me account either way: customers scan your join code, open the Stamp Me web app and log in with a one-time code sent by text or email. The native app is not required for that, but tap stamping with StampPod or Stamp Tag only works in the native app, and the Wallet option only stores the customer’s member code, and only if you use Stamp Business. The stamps themselves stay in Stamp Me, not on a Wallet card.

Which Stamp Me alternatives work without any app or account?

Stampioo, Loopy Loyalty, StampyWallet, BonusQR and PassKit put the card straight into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet after a QR scan and a short form, with no account at the vendor. FaveCard does the same on its paid plans. Square Loyalty needs no app but only offers an Apple Wallet pass and requires Square POS. Flex Rewards opens the card in the browser.

What is the cheapest alternative to Stamp Me?

By entry price on 3 November 2026: BonusQR has a free plan with no time limit, FaveCard has a free browser card, StampyWallet costs €20 a month and Loopy Loyalty $25. Stampioo costs €29 a month, the same as Stamp Me’s euro price and less than its £39 or $49, and €23 a month billed yearly. For a second location the gap widens: Stampioo Pro covers five locations for €49, while every Stamp Me plan covers one.

Can customers keep their stamps if I switch from Stamp Me?

Not automatically. Stamp Me’s cards live in its own app, and a Wallet pass from another vendor is a new card, so each customer scans your new QR code once. Most tools, Stampioo included, let staff add the old stamps to the new card by hand in the dashboard, so a customer with six stamps starts with six. Run both for a few weeks and say so at the till.

Is a digital punch card app the same as a loyalty card in Apple Wallet?

No. A punch card app, which is what Stamp Me is, stores the card inside the vendor’s app and needs an account. A loyalty card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet is a pass saved to the phone’s built-in wallet, updated by the business, with no account at the vendor and nothing to open before the customer reaches the till. Most of the alternatives on this page are the second kind.
