Stampioo vs Stamp Me (2026): Wallet card or customer app?
The one difference that decides most cases: Stamp Me asks every customer to create an account and log in to its app or web app, Stampioo puts the card straight into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The rest, from £39 to €29 to tap-to-stamp hardware, is below.

In short
- Stamp Me requires the customer to create an account and log in, in its app or its web app; tap stamping needs the native app. Stampioo requires nothing: the loyalty card is saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from a QR code, with no account.
- Stamp Me Lite costs £39, $49 or €29 a month (monthly billing only). Stampioo Starter costs €29 a month, or €23 a month billed yearly. Both give a 30-day trial without card details. Checked 3 November 2026.
- Stamp Me wins on tap-to-stamp hardware (StampPod, Stamp Tag), SMS, Scratch & Win and a bigger presence in the UK and Australia. Stampioo wins on no app, a true Wallet card with the stamps on it, 29 languages and five locations for €49.
- Choose Stamp Me if your customers will sign up for an account and you want the hardware. Choose Stampioo if you want the card in the customer’s Wallet with nothing to sign up for.
This comparison is shorter than most because one difference settles most cases. Stamp Me is an account-based loyalty app: the customer registers, logs in to the app or the web app with a one-time code, and collects stamps inside it. Stampioo is a loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, the kind of thing many people still call a digital stamp card. If you already know your customers will not sign up for anything, you can stop reading here. If you want the hardware, the games and the SMS that Stamp Me does well, read on, because those are real advantages.
Disclosure first: Stampioo publishes this page and sells one of the two products. Every figure below comes from stampme.com, help.stampme.com or stampioo.com on the date given, and the “choose Stamp Me if” list is as long as ours. We have left out the complaints about Stamp Me that only appear on competitor websites.

Choose Stamp Me if
- You want hardware at the counter. The StampPod and the Stamp Tag let the customer tap to stamp without a member of staff scanning anything. Stampioo has no hardware.
- You want SMS as well as push, Scratch & Win games, a birthday club and lapsed-customer automations on the entry plan.
- You are in the UK, Australia or Canada and want local-currency billing and a brand your customers may already have on their phone.
- You want a dedicated account manager, which the pricing page lists on every plan.
- Your customers are the kind who sign up for apps anyway: a gym, a juice bar with a young crowd, a chain with a marketing team.
Choose Stampioo if
- You do not want to ask anyone to sign up for anything. The customer scans, taps Add, and the card is in their Wallet with the stamps on it: no account, no one-time code, no app.
- You want the stamps, the reward and the push message on the Wallet pass itself, on the lock screen, not in an app or a web page the customer has to log in to.
- Your customers or staff speak one of the 21 languages Stamp Me does not offer: every Nordic language except Swedish, Polish, Italian, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Turkish and more.
- You run more than one location. Stamp Me is single-location on every plan; Stampioo Pro covers five for €49 a month. See the cafés page for how a small chain sets it up.
- You want to pay yearly and save: Stampioo offers it, Stamp Me’s page shows monthly billing only.
Where Stampioo loses
No hardware, no SMS, no games, no free plan, no POS integrations, no public API, prices in euros and Swedish kronor only, and far fewer public reviews than Stamp Me (one on G2 against Stamp Me’s 25 on UK Trustpilot in the last twelve months). If tap-to-stamp or SMS is the feature you are buying, Stamp Me is the right answer.
What the sources get wrong
Stamp Me’s price is quoted as $29, $45, $49 and $99 a month on various comparison pages, and its own UK blog still mentions £25. On 3 November 2026 stampme.com/pricing shows Lite at £39, $49, €29 or CAD 49, Pro at £49, $79, €49 or CAD 79, and Elite at £129, $199 or €169, with the US and Canadian Elite price shown next to a “$100” limited-time figure that the page does not explain. The other common error is “Stamp Me supports Apple Wallet”: it supports saving the member barcode, not the stamp card. The help centre article is linked below.

Do customers need to download an app for Stamp Me?
Not always, but they always need an account. Stamp Me’s members page explains that the customer joins through the Stamp Me app or its web app, logging in with a one-time code by phone or email, and collects stamps there. Tap stamping with the StampPod or Stamp Tag needs the native app. With Stampioo there is no account and no app: the card is saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from a QR code.
Does Stamp Me work with Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?
Only partly. According to Stamp Me’s help centre, the customer can save their member code, a barcode, to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, and only if the business stamps with the Stamp Business app. The stamps themselves stay in the Stamp Me app. Stampioo’s card, stamps and reward all live on the Wallet pass.
How much do Stamp Me and Stampioo cost?
On 3 November 2026, Stamp Me Lite costs £39, $49 (USD or AUD), €29 or CAD 49 a month, billed monthly only, with two published programmes and one location. Stampioo Starter costs €29 a month, or €23 a month billed yearly, with one programme and one location. In euros the entry prices are the same; in pounds or dollars Stamp Me is dearer.
Which one has stamping hardware?
Stamp Me: the StampPod sits on the counter and the Stamp Tag is a wearable tag, both tapped with the customer’s phone. Stampioo has no hardware; staff scan the customer’s card with the phone or tablet already at the till.
Which languages do they support?
Stamp Me’s help centre lists eight app languages: English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Swedish, Greek and German. Stampioo’s website, dashboard and support are in 29 languages.
Which should a small café pick?
If your customers will create an account and log in, and you want SMS, Scratch & Win games and a counter pod, Stamp Me. If you have ever watched a customer give up on a sign-up at the till, Stampioo: the card is in their Wallet in under a minute and there is no login to forget.
