Loopy Loyalty review 2026: pricing, Wallet cards, and who should still choose it
Loopy Loyalty is the best-known Wallet-based digital stamp card. We checked its pricing page, its product claims and the review-site complaints on 3 November 2026, and say plainly who should still choose it, and who should not.

In short
- Loopy Loyalty is a digital stamp card for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, built by PassKit, Inc. Plans on 3 November 2026: $25, $69 and $95 a month, or $250, $690 and $950 a year. Trial 15 days.
- Strong points: no customer app, unlimited push messages and customers on every plan, data export on every plan, a developer API, Zapier and Make, location-based messages, and up to ten locations on one plan.
- Weak points: the shortest trial of the Wallet-based tools, dollar pricing only, one card design on Starter, no stated dashboard languages, stamps only, and reviewer reports of Android customers struggling to add the card.
- Choose Loopy if you pay in dollars and want an API or automations. Look elsewhere for a 30-day trial, euro or pound pricing, a dashboard in your language, or a cheaper plan for two to five locations.
- Stampioo, which publishes this review, costs €29 a month and loses to Loopy on sticker price and API; it wins on trial length, languages and multi-location price. Prices checked 3 November 2026.
Loopy Loyalty is often the first digital stamp card a café or salon owner finds: it has been around longer than most, it is built by PassKit, the company that sells Wallet pass infrastructure to developers, and it does the one thing people want from a modern loyalty card, which is to put it in the customer’s Wallet without an app. This review checks what the product promises against its own pages and against what reviewers report, and ends with a plain verdict on who should still buy it.
A word on bias before the facts. This review is written by Stampioo, which sells a competing loyalty card. We have not hidden that, and we have tried to earn the right to be read anyway: every price is from Loopy’s pricing page with the date we read it, every complaint is attributed and marked as a report, Loopy’s strengths over our own product are listed in their own section, and the alternatives table at the end names where each tool, ours included, loses.
Loopy Loyalty in one paragraph
Customers scan a QR code or tap a link, and a stamp card is saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Staff add stamps and redeem rewards with the Stamper App, and each stamp updates the card in the customer’s Wallet. The business designs the card, sets the reward, sends messages, and can export or delete customer data at any time. The home page claims “89k” cards created and “thousands of small businesses worldwide”; we could not verify either figure and quote them as Loopy’s own.
The facts, checked 3 November 2026
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Card designs | Locations | Sub-users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $25 | $250 | 1 | 1 | 3 |
| Growth | $69 | $690 | 3 | 3 | 10 |
| Ultimate | $95 | $950 | 10 | 10 | 50 |
- Unlimited customers and unlimited push messages on every plan, per the pricing table.
- Apple Wallet and Google Wallet on every plan, per the pricing FAQ.
- Data export appears in every plan’s feature list, which contradicts older third-party reviews that place it on Ultimate only.
- Developer API access and no-code integration via Zapier and Make, and location-based messages (geo-fencing), all listed in the comparison table without clear tier markings, so confirm the tier before you buy for them.
- Trial: 15 days. The home page says “no credit card required”; the pricing FAQ says a card is needed only when a draft project goes live.
- Yearly billing is labelled “save 20%”; $250 against twelve times $25 is about 17%.
- Cancellation: the FAQ says the account and all associated loyalty cards are scheduled for deletion after the billing period ends, customers stop receiving updates, stamps or notifications, and no refunds are offered.
- Languages of the dashboard or card: not stated anywhere on the site we could find. Capterra lists English only.
- Hosting and GDPR: the pricing page says nothing; a privacy policy and a DPA are linked in the footer.
What the sources get wrong
If you have read that Loopy costs $15, $25 and $49 a month, you have read three different third-party pages. Directory and comparison sites quote all three, sometimes on the same day. The only figure that matters is the one on loopyloyalty.com/pricing, which on 3 November 2026 was $25 a month for Starter. The same goes for data export: several competitor-written reviews say it is limited to the top tier, while the pricing page lists it on every plan. When a vs page and the vendor disagree, the vendor’s page on a dated read wins.
What Loopy does well
- The Wallet card itself. Both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet on every plan, joined by QR code or link, with nothing for the customer to install. This is the right model, and Loopy was doing it before most of the tools that now copy it.
- Unlimited push messages from the cheapest plan. Several competitors, Stampioo included, keep targeted campaigns for a higher tier.
- Developer API, Zapier and Make. If you want an email every time a customer enrols, or to import an existing list and issue cards, Loopy has the plumbing and documents it.
- Location-based messages: a reminder on the lock screen when the customer is near the shop.
- Scale on one plan: ten designs, ten locations and 50 sub-users on Ultimate at $95 a month, without a custom quote.
- Export and delete at any time, stated plainly on the home page, which matters for GDPR requests.
Where it falls short
- The 15-day trial. Every other Wallet-based tool in our comparisons gives 30 days (PassKit 45); two weeks is short for a café to see a card come back for its second stamp.
- Dollars only. There is no euro or pound price, so a European business pays whatever its card issuer converts at, and the amount moves with the exchange rate.
- One card design on Starter, and the jump to $69 for a second location. A business with two shops pays nearly three times the Starter price.
- Stamps only. There are no points per amount spent and no tiers; Square Loyalty and Loyalzoo do that, Loopy does not try to.
- Dashboard languages are not stated. For a business whose staff or customers do not read English, that is a real gap; Stamp Me states eight languages and Stampioo 29.
- Reviewer reports. Per Capterra’s listing as of April 2026, read via search listings because the page blocks automated readers, the average is 4.6 from 67 reviews, and the recurring complaints are Android customers struggling to add the card to Google Wallet and limited design options. We have not reproduced these; treat them as reports.
- Cancellation deletes the cards. Loopy’s own FAQ says so, and that there are no refunds. Plan a switch around the billing date and export first.
Who should still choose Loopy Loyalty
- You bill in US dollars and want the lowest sticker price for one location with a Wallet card on both platforms. Only StampyWallet (€20) and BonusQR ($20 quarterly) undercut it, with trade-offs of their own.
- You will use the API, Zapier or Make. Among small-business stamp card tools only PassKit, Loopy’s own parent platform, matches that, at a higher and less predictable price.
- You want location-based messages and unlimited push from day one.
- You run, or will run, close to ten locations and want them on one flat plan.
Where Stampioo loses to Loopy, and where it wins
Honest scorecard, since we are the ones writing. Loopy wins on sticker price for one location ($25 against our €29), on the API and automations we do not offer, on unlimited push from the first plan, and on the number of public reviews (67 on Capterra against our one on G2). Stampioo wins on the trial (30 days without card details against 15), on languages (29 for website, dashboard and support, against none stated), on price from two locations up (Pro at €49 for five locations against Growth at $69 for three), and on euro pricing for a European business. Both put the card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with no customer app, and both have no POS integration. See the Stampioo plans for what each tier includes.
