PassKit alternatives (2026): 6 ready-made stamp card tools if you don’t want to build your own
PassKit is a developer platform billed by the pass. If you run a café or salon and just want a loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, these six ready-made tools do it at a flat price, with every figure checked on 3 November 2026, and a note on when PassKit is still the right choice.

In short
- PassKit is a developer platform for Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes. It costs a platform fee from $39.50 a month plus per-pass rates above 250 passes, billed monthly in arrears, with a 45-day trial, as shown on passkit.com on 3 November 2026.
- Stay on PassKit if you have a developer, want to design your own pass types (membership, coupon, event, loyalty), or issue passes from your own app or CRM through the API.
- Look elsewhere if you run a café, salon or restaurant and want a finished stamp card at a flat monthly price, set up in an afternoon without code. PassKit’s own answer to that is Loopy Loyalty, which is one of the six tools below.
- All six alternatives are flat-priced, five need no customer app or account, and five put the card in both Apple Wallet and Google Wallet: Stampioo, Loopy Loyalty, StampyWallet, BonusQR and Boomerangme.
- Stampioo, which publishes this page, costs €29 a month for unlimited customers and scans, with a 30-day trial without card details and 29 languages. We have no API, no free plan and no till integrations.
PassKit is where a lot of Wallet loyalty cards start, technically: it is the pass-signing platform behind Loopy Loyalty and the tool developers reach for when they want a membership card, coupon or ticket in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. It is also where small-business owners land when they search for “Apple Wallet loyalty card”, read the rate card, and realise they would be paying for a platform, by the pass, with a 45-day trial that assumes someone will write code. If that is you, this page lists six ready-made digital stamp card tools, or loyalty card tools as we call them, that do the whole job from a dashboard at a flat price.
Who is writing: Stampioo, which is the first tool in the list. We compete with the products here, so every price links to the vendor’s pricing page with the date we read it, each tool has a “where it loses” line including ours, and there is a plain section on when PassKit remains the right choice. If a figure has changed, tell us and we will correct it with a new date.
How we compared
- Prices from each vendor’s own pricing page on 3 November 2026, in the currency the page shows, with no conversion.
- Entry plan for a single location, and whether the price is flat or grows with passes, visits or customers. PassKit grows with passes; we show what that means with a worked example.
- Customer app, and whether the card is a real pass in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, since that is what a PassKit user expects.
- Developer options: API, webhooks, Zapier or Make, for readers who still want some automation.
- Trial length and whether card details are needed.
- Not weighed: third-party star ratings, which are thin and partly vendor-solicited in this market.

PassKit: what it is, what it costs, and who it is for
The facts, checked 3 November 2026
PassKit’s pricing has two parts. The platform fee depends on how many team members need account access: $39.50 a month for one, $59.25 for two, $75.75 for three, $89.50 for four, $99.75 for five, $114.75 for six to ten, $159.25 for eleven to twenty and $249.50 for unlimited. That fee includes up to 250 multi-use passes (long-life passes such as loyalty and membership cards) and 250 single-use passes (coupons, tickets) a month. Above that, PassKit bills by volume: $0.045 per multi-use pass in the 251 to 2,500 band, $0.034 to 5,000, $0.023 to 10,000, and down to $0.0005 above five million; single-use passes cost about double at each band. Invoices are issued monthly in arrears. The trial is 45 days. The platform supports Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, offers an API with developer documentation, and sells Loopy Loyalty as its ready-made small-business product.
What the per-pass model means for a shop
Take a café with one owner login and 2,000 customers holding a loyalty pass. The platform fee is $39.50. If those 2,000 multi-use passes are billed in a month, the first 250 are included and the next 1,750 at $0.045 come to $78.75, so the month costs about $118. At 5,000 passes the pass charge is around $185 on top of the fee. PassKit’s calculator will give you the exact figure for your mix, and the rate card notes it is the contractual schedule, so check it. The point is the direction: with PassKit a bigger customer list means a bigger bill, while every tool below charges the same at 50 regulars and at 5,000.
Where PassKit wins
- Any pass type you can design: loyalty, membership, coupon, event ticket, boarding pass, with your own fields and images, for both Wallets.
- A real API and developer documentation, so passes can be issued from your own app, website, CRM or booking system.
- Scales to volumes no small-business tool is built for, with per-pass rates that fall as volume grows.
- A 45-day trial, the longest in this comparison.
- The company behind Loopy Loyalty, so a known quantity in Wallet passes.
Where PassKit falls short for a small business
- It is a platform, not a product. There is no “create a stamp card” flow for a café owner; someone has to build the pass, the sign-up page and the stamping flow.
- The bill grows with passes, and it arrives in arrears, so the first real invoice can surprise you.
- No stamping app for staff out of the box; that is part of what you build, or what Loopy adds on top.
- If you only want a stamp card, you will end up at Loopy Loyalty anyway, so compare that directly.
The 6 alternatives
1. Stampioo: best for a finished Wallet card at a flat price, in 29 languages
Best for: a café, salon or restaurant that wants a loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet that customers save from a QR code, a staff scanner that needs no hardware, and one monthly price for unlimited customers.
Stampioo is the tool we make. You design the card in the dashboard, pick the reward and the number of stamps (2 to 20), print the QR code, and customers save the card in seconds with no app. Staff stamp with the phone scanner in the browser, the card updates on the lock screen, and nearby reminders can nudge customers when they are close by. Starter is €29 a month excluding VAT, or €23 a month billed yearly, for one programme, one location and three team members; Pro is €49 for five locations with advanced analytics and ten targeted push campaigns a month. Customers and scans are unlimited on every plan, there is no per-pass charge of any kind, the trial is 30 days without card details, and website, dashboard and support come in 29 languages. See plans and pricing.
Where it loses to PassKit: there is no public API, no custom pass types beyond the loyalty card, and no till integrations; you run it from the dashboard. There is no free plan, prices are in euros and kronor only, and the public review count is small so far. If you need to issue passes from your own software, PassKit, Loopy or StampyWallet’s Growth plan are the ones with an API.
2. Loopy Loyalty: best for the PassKit user who just wants the stamp card
Best for: anyone who arrived at PassKit for a café loyalty card. Loopy is PassKit’s own no-code product: a stamp card in both Wallets, a stamper app for staff, unlimited customers and push messages, and a developer API with Zapier and Make for the automation you may have wanted PassKit for. Starter is $25 a month or $250 a year for one card design, one location and three staff logins; Growth $69 for three locations; Ultimate $95 for ten. The trial is 15 days. Where it loses: the shortest trial here, dollar pricing only, the dashboard language is not stated, stamps only, and Loopy’s FAQ says cards are scheduled for deletion after the billing period if you cancel.
We compared ten tools against it in Loopy Loyalty alternatives.
3. StampyWallet: best for the lowest euro price, with an API on the second plan
Best for: a French business that wants the cheapest Wallet card, and a developer-minded owner who wants webhooks without PassKit’s per-pass bill. Essential is €20 a month excluding VAT for one location with unlimited customers, cards and visits; Growth is €40 and lists automatic messages, customer groups, 200 texts a month, an API, POS connections and webhooks; Network starts at €90 for several locations. The trial is 30 days with every Growth feature and no card, and data is hosted in Strasbourg. Where it loses: launched in 2026 with a small, French-first footprint, four website languages, and several locations from €90.
4. BonusQR: best if you want a free plan with no time limit
Best for: a very small business that wants a Wallet card for nothing and can wait for push messages and staff logins. The Free plan has one manager login and no push or email news; Basic is $22 a month at list price or $20 billed quarterly with five employee logins; Premium is $79 or $71 quarterly. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are on every plan, including Free. Where it loses: no API is mentioned on the pricing page, extra locations are an add-on without a listed price, and the company publishes rankings that put itself first.
5. Boomerangme: best for an agency that wants many card types and an API
Best for: a marketing agency or a multi-brand operator that wants punch, cashback, membership, reward, discount, prepaid punch, coupon and gift cards under one roof, with API and webhooks. Business is $199 a month, or $164 a month billed yearly, with ten promotions, ten geo-fenced locations, 50 manager seats and unlimited loyalty cards; Agency is $259 and Franchise $299 with white label and sub-accounts. Cards go to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet with no customer app, staff use a scanner app on any phone, and the trial is 14 days without a card. Where it loses: priced for agencies, not a single café, and the pricing page showed two price sets and two different sub-account fees when we read it, so confirm before signing.
6. Stamp Me: best for hardware stamping and SMS, if customers will create a Stamp Me account
Best for: a UK or Australian business that wants tap-to-stamp hardware, SMS campaigns and gamification. Lite is £39, $49 or €29 a month, billed monthly, for one location and up to two programmes; Pro £49, $79 or €49; Elite £129, $199 or €169. The trial is 30 days from the first published card, no card details. Where it loses, and it matters for a PassKit reader who expects a real Wallet pass: the customer creates a Stamp Me account (the native app is optional and only needed for tap stamping; otherwise the card runs in Stamp Me’s web app with a one-time code login), and only a member-code barcode can be saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Integrations are Zapier and Mailchimp rather than an API.

How to choose
Stay on PassKit if:
- You have a developer and want to issue passes from your own app, website or CRM.
- You need pass types beyond a stamp card: memberships, coupons, tickets, with your own layout.
- Your volumes are large enough that falling per-pass rates beat a flat subscription, and you can budget for an invoice in arrears.
Switch if:
- You want a stamp card today, from a dashboard, without code: Stampioo, Loopy Loyalty or StampyWallet.
- You want a price that does not grow with your customer list: all six, Stampioo at €29 for unlimited customers.
- You still want an API but not the per-pass bill: Loopy ($25), StampyWallet Growth (€40) or Boomerangme ($199).
- You want a dashboard and card in your own language: Stampioo (29 languages) or Stamp Me (eight in the app).
- You want a free plan: BonusQR.
- You want hardware stamping or SMS and your customers will create a Stamp Me account: Stamp Me.
If you leave PassKit
- Export your member data first; the fields you get depend on what your passes collected.
- Passes do not transfer. Each Wallet pass is signed by the platform that issued it, so customers scan the new QR code and save a new card.
- Keep the PassKit passes live for a few weeks of overlap, and note that PassKit bills in arrears, so the last invoice arrives after you stop.
- Carry stamps over by hand: most tools, Stampioo included, let staff add stamps to a new card in the dashboard.
- Replace every printed QR code and the sign-up link on your website and social profiles.

How much does PassKit cost?
PassKit charges a monthly platform fee by team members, from $39.50 for one member to $249.50 for unlimited, which includes up to 250 multi-use and 250 single-use passes a month. Above that you pay per pass: $0.045 per multi-use pass in the 251 to 2,500 band, falling to $0.0005 above five million, with single-use passes at roughly double. Invoices are monthly in arrears, and the trial is 45 days, as shown on passkit.com on 3 November 2026.
Is Loopy Loyalty the same as PassKit?
They are from the same company. PassKit, Inc. runs the PassKit developer platform and sells Loopy Loyalty as its ready-made stamp card for small businesses: $25 a month for one location, no code, both Wallets. If you came to PassKit for a café loyalty card, Loopy is the product PassKit itself would point you to, and it is one of the six alternatives on this page.
Which PassKit alternatives still have an API?
Loopy Loyalty lists a developer API plus Zapier and Make. StampyWallet lists an API, POS connections and webhooks on its Growth plan at €40 a month. Boomerangme lists API and webhooks on its Business plan at $199 a month. Stampioo, BonusQR and Stamp Me are run from the dashboard without a public API; Stamp Me offers Zapier and Mailchimp integrations instead.
What is the cheapest PassKit alternative?
By entry price on 3 November 2026: BonusQR has a free plan with no time limit, StampyWallet costs €20 a month, Loopy Loyalty $25, Stampioo €29 (€23 billed yearly), Stamp Me £39, $49 or €29, and Boomerangme $199. All are flat prices: none of them charges per pass, which is the PassKit cost that grows with your customer list.
Do these alternatives need a customer app?
Five of the six need neither an app nor an account: Stampioo, Loopy Loyalty, StampyWallet, BonusQR and Boomerangme put the card straight into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from a QR code, like a PassKit pass. Stamp Me is the exception: customers create a Stamp Me account, the native app is optional except for tap stamping with the StampPod or Stamp Tag, and only a member-code barcode goes into the Wallet.
Can I move my PassKit passes to another tool?
No. A Wallet pass is signed by the platform that issued it, so passes from PassKit cannot be re-signed by Stampioo or anyone else. Customers scan the new QR code and save a new card. Export your member data from PassKit first, keep the old passes live for a few weeks, and let staff add existing stamps to the new card by hand, which most tools in this list allow.
