Printable loyalty card for beauty salons

Different treatments have different rhythms and prices, so the card needs a clear rule for what earns a stamp and a reward that fills a gap in the diary. Print ten cards per sheet, free and with no account.

Keep it short enough to read on a card.

Lots of treatments, one clear rule

A beauty salon mixes services with completely different rhythms. Lashes need an infill after a few weeks, brows are shaped once a month and a facial might be booked every other month. If every treatment earns a stamp, the lash client fills the card in six months while the facial client needs a year. Six stamps is a good middle ground. Write on the card what counts, for example “one stamp per treatment from €30”, so a quick upper lip wax doesn't earn the same stamp as an hour-long facial.

Reward with an add-on that fills gaps

The best reward is a short treatment with almost no product cost: a brow tint, a face mask alongside a booked treatment or a hand massage. It takes ten or fifteen minutes and can go where the diary has a gap anyway. Avoid giving away your most expensive treatment, since it takes up a whole slot that would otherwise have been paid for. The client also gets to try something new, and next time they might pay for it.

Let the salon keep the card

With freshly painted nails or a facial just finished, clients rarely want to rummage through their bag at the till, and the card is easily left at home. Offer to keep the cards in a small card box by the till, sorted by first name. That way nobody can stamp their own, the card doesn't get lost and you can see at a glance how close the client is to the reward. Stamp with your own stamp and print the terms on the back: which treatments count, no cash alternative, the card is personal.

Print with the same feel as the salon

Choose a card colour and stamp icon that suit your interior, print at 100% scale on thick, matt card and cut along the crop marks. A print shop gives cleaner edges if you download the PNG or SVG. If you have lots of regulars, the card box soon fills up. Then a loyalty card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet is the next step: the client always has it with them, you stamp with your phone and you can send an offer when you have free slots in a given week.

Questions

Six is a good middle ground when treatments have different rhythms. If you have a separate stamp card for a frequent treatment like lashes, it can have more stamps.
It's better to set a minimum spend, for example one stamp per treatment from €30, and write it on the stamp card. That way a quick wax doesn't earn the same reward as a facial.
A short add-on treatment such as a brow tint, a mask or a hand massage. It costs little in product, fills gaps in the diary and lets the client try something new.
A nail salon has one and the same treatment on a fixed rhythm and can use a simple rule: one stamp per visit. A beauty salon has lots of treatments at different prices, so it needs a rule for what counts.
No. A prepaid pass is a package of treatments the client pays for in advance. A stamp card costs the client nothing: every treatment earns a stamp and a full card earns a reward.
